Nurse Practitioner, a degree for nurses who complete master’s-level training and board certification in order to practice medicine. As nurses, NPs bring a special sort of caring to their work. Alternate degrees include ANP (Adult Nurse Practitioner), FNP (Family Nurse Practitioner), and WHNP (Women's Health Nurse Practitioner).
Emily Sullivan, a San Francisco native, loves getting to know her patients and building trusting relationships through thoughtful open dialogue. In her spare time, Emily enjoys running, taking care of her daughter, and remodeling her home. She received her nursing degree from UCSF and her nurse practitioner degree from George Mason University. She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).
