Physician Assistant, an advanced practice degree for primary care providers who undergo extensive practical training and board certification, and are licensed to practice medicine including the full range of diagnosis, treatment, and prevention.
I enjoy listening to patients and working with them to develop a plan that helps them feel in control of their health. I think patient education is extremely important and often neglected in our medical systems. I strive to help patients recognize why their body or mind is responding a certain way and what we can do to ultimately reach the outcomes they desire. My interests include pediatric/adolescent care, ADHD, mental health, and preventative health care.
How I stay healthy and happy
Spending time with my family brings me the most joy. When I'm not in the office, you will likely find me at the baseball/softball field or the swimming pool cheering on my children and their teammates. I love to swim and weight train, read, and laugh with my friends. I also enjoy traveling, particularly anywhere warm with a beach!
