Elizabeth Rocco, MD
Cambridge
Doctor of Medicine, a common medical school degree for physicians. MDs at One Medical typically specialize in family medicine, internal medicine, geriatrics or pediatrics.
As an integrative family physician I partner with patients to create a strong, therapeutic relationship to explore health and wellness. From learning about the latest in evidenced-based medicine, interpreting signs, symptoms, and results, and integrating holistic health habits into daily life to overcoming struggles on your health journey, reconnecting to your families’ rich cultural healing traditions, and reclaiming your natural ability to heal in community, you will have a unique opportunity to be supported in cultivating health and wellness in your life. In addition to the routine clinical offerings, I have an expansive toolkit that includes mindfulness, creative arts practices, mind-body therapies, kitchen medicine, exercise, group visits, counseling, and community action. I facilitate dialogue groups that aim to create safe, brave spaces to shed implicit biases, unpack racism, heal internalized oppression, and foster deep listening skills as we strive to decolonize medicine together.
