Nurse Practitioner, an advanced practice degree for primary care providers who complete master’s-level training and board certification and who practice medicine independently. Related degrees include ANP (Adult Nurse Practitioner), FNP (Family Nurse Practitioner), WHNP (Women's Health Nurse Practitioner), and APNP (Advance Practice Nurse Practitioner).
I practice in primary care because I believe it offers the unique opportunity to get to know people and provide personalized, whole-person care that helps them achieve good health and well-being. I’m dedicated to open communication because by learning about you, your life, your family, your health goals means that I will be able to help you reach those goals. This is a partnership and a collaboration. I believe that this collaboration gives an opportunity for people to make the best decisions for themselves and improve their lives and health in the ways that matter most.
