Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine, or DOs, are fully licensed and board-certified physicians who practice in all areas of medicine. DOs emphasize a whole-person approach to treatment and receive extra training in the musculoskeletal system called osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT). DOs at One Medical typically practice in the field of family medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, or internal medicine, and may also integrate OMT.
About Ellie
Elenor has a warm, thoughtful, and balanced approach with a strong background in conventional medicine complemented by integrative medicine. She offers traditional therapies such as medication, but also offers information about lifestyle changes, botanicals, and relaxation techniques, also known as mind-body medicine. When appropriate, she may recommend referrals for acupuncture or osteopathic treatments. Elenor enjoys infant and child care as well as working with adolescents. She can point you to resources to help with potty training, parenting strategies, and sleep. A supporter of vaccines, she’s happy to discuss any concerns that you have at your visit.
To stay healthy and happy, Elenor loves to practice yoga, explore the world, and spend time outdoors paddle boarding, hiking, and backpacking. In the evenings, she loves to create healthy meals and hang with loved ones including her Labrador Retriever. She earned her medical degree at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences before completing her residency at Nicklaus Children's Hospital. She’s board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.
