Dori Moscowitz, DO
Chicago
Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine, or DOs, are fully licensed and board-certified physicians who practice in all areas of medicine. DOs emphasize a whole-person approach to treatment and receive extra training in the musculoskeletal system called osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT). DOs at One Medical typically practice in the field of family medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, or internal medicine, and may also integrate OMT.
I focus on getting to know my patients as people to help them better understand and navigate their healthcare. I enjoy educating patients and helping them take an active role in their health. I'm especially passionate about women's health (including IUD placement), adolescent medicine, and preventive care.
To stay healthy, I take spin class at the gym and go for walks around Chicago. Outside of work, I enjoy reading with my book club and cooking. I also volunteer at Community Health Clinic, a free clinic for people without insurance.
