I was raised in Oxford, England and have lived in multiple places during my life. I started my career in Human Service work in 2003 working with Co-occurring Disorders and Mental Health disorders. I have worked in every Level Of Care for mental health treatment, throughout my career, in psychiatric Hospitals and non-profit settings. I have worked with adults and adolescents and numerous special populations including Veterans, LGBTQ+, Parolees, Domestic Violence Victims, and Unhoused. I organized and developed one of the first Police Assisted Recovery Programs in California as a contracted Social Worker, aiding the Officers in the field and on calls with addiction and mental health treatment interventions and crisis response. I use Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approaches and believe in the healing power of humor and human connection.

How I stay healthy and happy
I am a single father who loves spending time with my 3 children, painting, traveling, and playing the Bagpipes.
