My family immigrated to the U.S. from Vietnam when I was eight years old. My interest in the mental health field stems from my own immigration experiences and bicultural identity. I am passionate about helping others to navigate the transitions and challenges in their lives. I take an integrative approach to therapy and work collaboratively with my clients to help them meet their treatment goals. I utilize evidence-based treatment modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy interventions to help clients better manage their symptoms. In addition, I also incorporate more psychodynamic interventions to help clients gain insight into their triggers or relationship patterns that may exacerbate their symptoms, or to gain a deeper understanding of their sense of self.
How I stay healthy and happy
I enjoy doing yoga and spending time in nature with my family. I am pretty adventurous with food and love trying out new foods.
