As a Behavioral Health Care manager, I support individuals using a holistic perspective. Using a holistic perspective, I take into account how my client’s experiences are influenced by their thoughts, emotions, and physical nature. I have been in private practice since 2010 working with groups and individuals dealing with relationship dynamics, major life transitions, general life overwhelm, and physical limitations/rehabilitation. My areas of interest and expertise include Somatic Experiencing, mindfulness, interpersonal relationship communication/dynamics, attachment and the nervous system, anxiety, depression, major life transitions, chronic and acute pain, physical rehabilitation, and conflict resolution. I have a special interest in interpersonal dynamics, as I believe the basis of our contentment directly relates to the level of our ability to be in honest relationship with ourselves and others. My approach to working with clients is present, loving, and playful. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Social Psychology, I am certified as a Professional Integral Coach (PCC), and an Experienced Yoga Teacher (E-RYT-500) with a focus on Therapeutic and Restorative yoga. I am a student of Buddhist mindfulness meditation, and I am currently in a 3-year training program to become a Somatic Experiencing practitioner.
How I stay healthy and happy
I enjoy taking improv classes, making jewelry, hiking the beautiful California mountains with my dog Luna, kayaking the American River while the sun is rising, riding one of my many vintage bikes around town with friends, and seeing live music.
