As a Behavioral Health Care manager/coach, I collaborate with therapists to support patients from a somatic (body-based) perspective, helping them navigate a dysregulated nervous system. Since 2010, I’ve worked as a coach supporting individuals and groups through relationship challenges, major life transitions, general life overwhelm, and physical rehabilitation. My approach draws on somatic and mindfulness practices, including Somatic Experiencing, Restorative Yoga, and an exploration of personal dynamics. I believe the basis of our contentment directly relates to the level of our ability to be in an honest relationship with ourselves and others. Clients describe my presence as compassionate, curious, and playful. I hold a degree in Social Psychology, am a Professional Integral Coach (PCC), and an Experienced Yoga Teacher (E-RYT-500) with advanced training in therapeutic and restorative practices. I’m also a longtime mindfulness practitioner and currently completing a 3-year training in Somatic Experiencing.
How I stay healthy and happy
Outside of my work, I enjoy taking improv classes, making jewelry, and exploring the beautiful California mountains with my dog, Luna. I love kayaking on the American River at sunrise, riding my collection of vintage bikes around town with friends, and experiencing the energy of live music..
