Nurse Practitioner, an advanced practice degree for primary care providers who complete master’s-level training and board certification and who practice medicine independently. Related degrees include ANP (Adult Nurse Practitioner), FNP (Family Nurse Practitioner), WHNP (Women's Health Nurse Practitioner), and APNP (Advance Practice Nurse Practitioner).
I entered the healthcare field nearly 20 years ago, driven by a passion for caring for others and a strong interest in the human body. As a Nurse Practitioner, I’ve had the privilege of providing meaningful care to my community, which I find deeply fulfilling. I am especially passionate about patient education and advocacy, and I believe in creating a space where patients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their healthcare decisions. I have a strong interest in preventive care and chronic disease management, with a focus on achieving the best possible long-term outcomes. I strive to be an attentive listener and collaborative partner in each patient’s care. Outside of work, I enjoy gardening, spending time in my yard, exercising and being with my family.
