Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine, or DOs, are fully licensed and board-certified physicians who practice in all areas of medicine. DOs emphasize a whole-person approach to treatment and receive extra training in the musculoskeletal system called osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT). DOs at One Medical typically practice in the field of family medicine, pediatrics, or internal medicine, and may also integrate OMT.
Brett, a Bay Area native, is a compassionate provider who focuses on healing the body, mind, and spirit. He uses education and collaboration to encourage patients to engage in their health. His comprehensive approach to primary care incorporates evidence-based medicine, complementary therapies, and gentle osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT). He also teaches creative visualization techniques to help manage stress and anxiety. In his free time, Brett enjoys traveling and learning about other cultures through their food and history. To stay healthy, he meditates and participates in outdoor activities like hiking, running, and soccer. After graduating from Touro University California, he completed his residency at the Exempla St. Joseph Family Medicine Residency in Denver.
