Nurse Practitioner, an advanced practice degree for primary care providers who complete master’s-level training and board certification and who practice medicine independently. Related degrees include ANP (Adult Nurse Practitioner), FNP (Family Nurse Practitioner), WHNP (Women's Health Nurse Practitioner), and APNP (Advance Practice Nurse Practitioner).
I have a passion for primary care as well as telemedicine. I feel it is so important to meet every patient where they are and to treat them as individuals, not as a particular diagnosis. I enjoy conversing with my patients and getting to know them so that every treatment plan is tailored to them. I fell in love with this field because it allows me to help my patients with both acute needs as well as care for chronic problems, while also educating about health promotion and prevention of disease in the future. I welcome and encourage questions during and after any patient interaction and pride myself on being available to my patients and responsive to their individual needs.

How I stay healthy and happy
I enjoy outdoor activities, including walking, running, hiking, biking, and water sports (kayaking, paddle boarding). I like to try all varieties of foods and like to be adventurous with new restaurants. I also enjoy reading in my spare time and am always looking for new book recommendations! Walking my dog, Teddy, is a daily health boost for me and my lazy cat Minnie reminds me that relaxing is good for the soul, too.
