Registered Nurse, a degree from a nursing program that includes a broad base of health education and support for patient care at many levels. At One Medical, RNs are a core part of our Virtual Medical Team, working with both patients and providers.
I have years of nursing experience, including 10 years in oncology with chemotherapy and biotherapy infusion. I’m board certified in blood and marrow transplant (also known as “bone marrow transplant”), and have specialized in follow-up coordination of care and education in this patient population, including long-term follow-up and recommendations for transitioning back to primary care. I also am an avid traveler with personal experience in international travel that requires disease prevention medications and vaccinations, and preparation for altitude experience (I hiked Mt Kilimanjaro and am a skier!).
How I stay healthy and happy
I’m a former college distance runner, but these days I enjoy teaching and practicing yoga, hiking, skiing, travel (local and abroad), cooking, and movie nights with my fiancé and our rescue cat, Minou.
