Andrea Ciano, DO
New Canaan
Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine, or DOs, are fully licensed and board-certified physicians who practice in all areas of medicine. DOs emphasize a whole-person approach to treatment and receive extra training in the musculoskeletal system called osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT). DOs at One Medical typically practice in the field of family medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, or internal medicine, and may also integrate OMT.
As a family physician I enjoy treating patients of all ages and backgrounds. I try to use a whole body approach to medicine and make sure to incorporate your mental health into treating your physical conditions. I like to focus on preventative medicine and love to treat chronic conditions. I strive to create an environment that feels comfortable and safe so together we can achieve your medical goals.
How I stay healthy and happy
I like to do yoga, pilates and enjoy working out on my stationary bike to keep healthy. My happy place is always spending time with my family and my two kids.
