About Amber
Chicago native Amber Kaufman pursued a career in primary care because she loves focusing on education and prevention with patients of all ages. She believes One Medical Group uses an innovative and cutting-edge approach to meet patients’ needs and provide the highest quality care. Amber listens closely and collaborates with patients in order to develop treatment plans that are individualized and sustainable. She is particularly interested in helping patients with exercise, nutrition, weight management, and travel medicine. To stay healthy, she runs and lifts weights, and in her spare time, she loves traveling and spending time outdoors. Amber is a co-founder and project director for a nonprofit organization called Health Gives Hope, and twice a year, she leads volunteer medical teams to Ethiopia and oversees a health center in a rural mountain village. Amber attended the University of Central Florida for her Master of Science degree in nursing and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner degree. She earned her Family Nurse Practitioner post-master’s certificate from the University of Massachusetts. Amber is board-certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and Pediatric Nursing Certification Board.
