Get the facts, not the flu.

Should I get a seasonal flu shot?

Yes. While some people are at greater risk of serious flu complications, anyone can catch the flu and spread it to people around them. We recommend everyone over 6 months old get vaccinated.

When should I get vaccinated?

It’s best to get vaccinated before flu season peaks. We recommend getting your flu shot as early as possible, but it’s never too late to get one if the flu is still around. And remember, you need to get a flu shot every year.

Are flu vaccines safe?

Yes. Flu vaccines have been studied carefully and are generally very safe. However, if you've had an allergic reaction (or other bad reaction) to a vaccine in the past, be sure to let your provider know.

Which flu shots do we offer?

We offer four types of quadrivalent flu vaccines: regular (preservative-free), high-dose, egg-free, and pediatric.

How much does it cost?

The vaccine is fully covered by most insurance plans. Check with your insurance carrier if you have questions about your coverage. If you don't have insurance, the regular vaccine costs $40, the high-dose vaccine is $70, and the egg-free and pediatric vaccines are $45.

Can I get the flu from the vaccine?

The flu vaccine contains either inactivated virus that can’t make you sick or no virus at all. People who get sick after a flu shot were likely exposed before receiving it or before it took effect. It takes up to two weeks to build immunity.
