Rest Well, a group program for improving sleep
About the program
Insomnia can have a big impact on many aspects of your life as well your long-term health — from productivity to mood to cardiovascular health. That’s why we created Rest Well, a group program designed to help you get the quality sleep you need to lead a happier, healthier, and more productive life.
What to expect
Led by One Medical providers and health coaches, this intro-level program consists of six 90-minute sessions at our group visits space in the Financial District. Throughout the course of the program, you’ll learn more about the causes of sleep issues and how to make lifestyle and behavior changes that lead to better, more restful sleep.
Our community-based approach combines education, skills training, and health coaching to empower you to make sustainable, long-term changes and build a peer support network.
The topics covered include:
- Sleep cycles and circadian rhythm
- Sleep hygiene
- Progressive muscle relaxation
- The impact of diet on sleep
- Understanding sleep aids
- How our beliefs affect sleep
Wednesdays, Oct. 30th, Nov. 6th, 13th, 20th, Dec. 4th, and 11th
Time: 5 to 6:00 p.m.
Each session is billed to your insurance as a medical visit, so you’ll only be responsible for your regular copay, coinsurance, or deductible depending on your insurance benefits. Please check your insurance policy or reach out to your insurance provider to better understand your costs.
