Modern is an attentive physician whose goal is to personally connect with patients and provide individualized education and care. He understands the importance of the patient-doctor relationship and he enjoys taking the time to get to know his patients and care for their health. Modern stays healthy and balanced by cycling, weight lifting, and exploring the outdoors. To relax, he follows his favorite sports teams, reads, and spends time with friends and family. A native of Taiwan, Modern is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and is happy to see patients who are also native speakers. After graduating from Touro University California College of Osteopathic Medicine, Modern completed his residency and fellowship training in internal medicine and sports medicine at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center, a Tufts affiliate, and at Boston Children's Hospital, a Harvard affiliate. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
