About the Program

Led by integrative physicians and holistic health providers, One Medical’s stress and anxiety management program consists of four weekly small group workshop sessions. It’s an introductory course designed to acquaint participants with several highly efficient and effective stress relief techniques. Each session is 90 minutes.

Our workshop will take place within a supportive and safe atmosphere.

Why It’s Unique

In this workshop series, we focus on experiential skill training, so you’ll learn new, highly practical tools in each session that you can practice immediately. Two One Medical health coaches will also participate, to guide you in how to incorporate these tools into your busy life.

We’re now enrolling participants for our next stress and anxiety management workshop series led by Aileen Kucsera, a PA-C with expertise in mind-body medicine.

Our next series will take place on four Tuesdays: October 17, 24, November 7, and 14 from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m.

Program Cost

Each session is billed to your insurance as a medical visit, so you will simply have to pay your regular copay, co-insurance, or deductible, depending on your insurance benefits. If you do not have medical insurance, our rate is $75/session.

Requirements

You’ll need to commit to attending all four 90-minute group meetings, on the consecutive Tuesdays listed above. We also ask that you practice your new skills for 10 minutes a day during the course of the workshop series.

What to Expect

Shift is a skills-based approach to stress and anxiety management. It is most beneficial for individuals struggling with stress management, generalized anxiety, and insomnia.*

You’ll learn seven highly effective skills that can be easily incorporated into a busy and stressful life. These include:

  • Breath work
  • Posturing
  • Visualization
  • Healthy self-talk
  • Progressive muscle relaxation
  • Loving-kindness practice (metta)
  • Mindfulness

The program is educational, fun, experiential, and transformative. We’ll provide a light meal after each session.

*The series does not address or is not appropriate for the management of phobias, panic disorder, severe mental health conditions, or those highly uncomfortable in a group setting.
