Sara is a compassionate psychiatric nurse practitioner who enjoys establishing meaningful relationships with patients to achieve positive, lasting change. Her approach is grounded in the theory of self-determination, with strong influences from cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, and humanistic psychology. She is especially interested in addiction psychiatry, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and chronic pain. To stay healthy, she practices yoga and runs. In her free time, Sara enjoys the company of her family and her Boston Terrier, Donnie. She is a graduate of the Yale University School of Nursing, and is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She is a board-certified adult psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner.
