Veena brings a strong background in sports medicine and a commitment to patient education to her practice at One Medical Group. She is adept at problem-solving and approaching health issues from a holistic standpoint, focusing on diet, exercise and lifestyle modification in addition to conventional treatments. After attending The George Washington University, Veena earned her MD from Kasturba Medical College in India and completed her residency in Family Medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry-New Jersey Medical School at St. Mary Hospital. She received additional training in Primary Care Sports Medicine through a fellowship at Boston University Medical Center. Veena has extensive experience as a clinician and teacher and is currently a visiting assistant professor at Georgetown University. She is board-certified in Family Medicine and Primary Care Sports Medicine.
