Kind and non-judgmental, Brian offers a humanistic approach focused on traditional medicine treatments and connecting with patients through empathy, patience, and compassion. His experience in public and global health has highlighted the importance of preventive medicine, and he's passionate about these areas of medicine. He's also interested in LGBTGQ health and sexual health.
Brian stays healthy through mindfulness, yoga, and exercise. When he's not working, he enjoys reading, live music, watching college sports, travel, and adventure sports. He also serves on the board of directors for Innovating Health International, a Haitian nonprofit dedicated to treating chronic disease. Brian earned his medical degree at Florida State University and a Master of Public Health at UC Berkeley. He completed a preventive health residency at UCSF Medical Center and an internal medicine residency at Kaiser Permanente. He's board-certified in internal medicine.
