Kind and friendly, German builds trusting relationships with his patients to help them take control of their whole health, body and mind, so they can lead happy, fulfilling lives. He listens in a nonjudgmental way to patients' experiences in order to understand their concerns better and provide personalized, evidence-based care that fits their unique needs.
To stay healthy, German eats a mostly vegetarian diet, exercises regularly (running, rock climbing, and hiking), drinks lots of water, gets enough sleep, meditates, and laughs and smiles frequently. When he's not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, reading, listening to anything on vinyl, thrift shopping, and watching classic movies, new TV shows, and soccer. German earned his medical degree at Universidad Autonoma de Baja California before completing an internship in family and community medicine at Penn State's Hershey Medical Center. He did his residency in urban family medicine at Beth Israel.
