Good news for New Yorkers aged 65 and older: One Medical is now in-network with Humana Medicare Advantage plans in New York City.

This means that if you’re covered by Humana Medicare Advantage in New York, you can now select a One Medical provider for your primary care.

“We’re very excited to announce our partnership with Humana for Medicare Advantage in New York,” said Brendhan Green, One Medical Group’s vice president of health plan contracting. “By partnering with Humana, our Medicare-eligible members can have access to Medicare Advantage plans that may be more cost effective for them. One Medical offers a unique and modern approach to primary care that puts patients first. We’re proud to be part of Humana’s network of providers.”

Wondering if One Medical is for you? Read on and come to one of our Fall Open House events to get your questions answered.

What is Medicare Advantage?

Medicare Advantage HMO plans are offered by private insurance companies that contract with Medicare to provide health coverage. These plans cover everything included in traditional Medicare plans, but may also offer more benefits and/or lower co-pays.

Why Choose Medicare Advantage?

Medicare Advantage plans often can be a lower-cost alternative to Medicare, and may include coverage for services like routine vision, dental, and hearing care as well as prescription drugs. Your yearly out-of-pocket costs are capped with Medicare Advantage. And there’s no annual membership fee with any Medicare Advantage plan.
